Am I eligible for finance?

Perfect Shutters acts as the credit broker only and have no influence over whether your finance application with them is accepted or not. Our finance provider act as the lender. Terms and Conditions apply.

Our Complaints Procedure

On the rare occasion that we do receive a complaint, we take it very seriously. If you are unhappy with the any aspect of the goods you purchased with us you may contact us in any way you prefer. Our contact details are as follows:

If your complaint relates to your finance agreement
If your complaint relates to the finance linked to your purchase you can still let us know about this, but we will forward it on to your credit provider Novuna. Novuna will acknowledge your complaint and investigate it thoroughly and issue their response within eight weeks.


What to do if you can’t reach an agreement
If you are not satisfied with Novuna’s response to your complaint relating to the finance agreement, you may be able to refer the matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service. You must contact them within six months of the date of Novuna’s final response letter to you.

Perfect Shutters has partnered with a finance provider to offer customers a quick and easy way to apply for financing terms. Only 25% deposit) and 12 months interest free credit. You can also choose to pay for your shutters up to 60 months.

When do my repayments begin?
Window Shutters Finance. All monthly payments are paid by direct debit from the applicant’s bank account. Typically, first payment will start 30 days after your shutters have been fitted. Subsequent monthly payments will be due every month for the length of your term on that same day every month.

Please have sufficient funds in place for 7 days either side of your expected 1st payment. We cannot legislate for any changes due to weekends/bank holidays.

Can I use finance to purchase multiple shutters?
Yes, you can purchase multiple items to an individual order following your acceptance of our quotation and your window shutters finance is approved..

I have a question about window shutter finance, who do I speak to?

What do I need to apply for finance?
At the payment stage, you will be required to fill out the online form and add an electronic signature. Please make sure you use your full name and address.

A transaction of 50p will be authorised against a credit or debit card you own, no money will be taken from your card the process is designed to protect you and us against fraud, the details are only used to confirm they are valid and registered to your address.

Perfect Shutters choose or finance provider due to their ease of use, speedy process and their incredible experience. If you’re successful with your application, you will enter into a Credit Agreement with the finance company.

I’ve got a question about the status of my finance application
Please contact us. You will be able to find our contact details on our website contact us page. The finance company may also email you to advise you on the status of your application. They will use the email address you provided on the application form but if you haven’t received any emails from them, please check your junk and spam mail folders.

How do I amend my order?
Contact us directly if you want to amend any part of your order, including delivery. You will be able to find our contact details on our web site contact us page.

Why was my window shutters finance application declined?
Applications can be declined for a host of reasons. Unfortunately, we are not given the reason why a customer is declined for a credit application. The authorisation process will always be carried out by a finance company. Perfect Shutters has no control over the underwriting decision.

The decline message is sent to you by the finance company, with no justification or explanation. If you wish to find out more, you can contact them directly. Their details can be found in the email you will have received confirming the lending decision.

I’m having problems uploading my proof of identity
You need to carefully follow the instructions on the screen to upload your proof of identity image. You can use a smartphone camera to take a picture of your identity document, there’s no need to have a scanner.

I’m having problems paying my deposit online
Please carefully re-enter all your card details. Your card must be enabled for 3-D Secure for them to take payment online. Please note: Our finance provider cannot take card payments over the phone or by any other means.
